Jackson County deputies, Davenport Police Department execute search warrant in Miles, Iowa

Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office helped Davenport Police Department investigators in executing a search warrant in Miles, Iowa on Wednesday, January 17 at about 3:30 p.m., according to a news release from Jackson County Sheriff Brent J. Kilburg.

The nearby Easton Valley Elementary School was placed on lockdown, with a deputy on site out of an abundance of caution and because of the location of the residence being investigated. The lockdown was lifted at about 4: 15 p.m. There are no threats to the public at this time. currently exist.
