Lauren London honors Nipsey Hussle on 'day he blessed Earth with his presence'

Lauren London has penned an emotional tribute to her late partner Nipsey Hussle on his birthday. The rapper would have been 38 years old today.

Nipsey Hussle tragically passed away in 2019, at the young age of 33. He was fatally shot outside his store in Los Angeles. The couple shared a son, Kross together, who was born in 2016.

Taking to her 10.5 million Instagram followers, Lauren posted a picture of Nipsey, along with the caption:

“Honoring the day you blessed the Earth with your presence. Forevermore. 💙🏁 I love you.”

She then posted more posts of her late partner to her stories, along with the song Mr. Blue, with the lyrics: “We’ll never die, and now I think of you, and I turn right into Mr Blue.”

The post comes months after Nipsey’s four-year death anniversary, in which London shared another emotional tribute to the music star, as she penned:

“I hold my breath all of March knowing I have to face the memory of the day you transitioned….Holding on to ancient wisdom but the pain is the pain
and nothing was ever the same…”

Fans pay tribute to Nipsey on his birthday

Fans and celebrity friends took to Lauren’s comments to offer her words of support during the difficult time, as well as to pay their own tributes to the rapper.

Nia Long wrote: “Wrapping my arms around you a little tighter today.”

“We all send u healing energy and great vibes today..” penned one fan.

“We miss nip!!!! Bless u sis,” wrote another.

One fan penned: “The greatest and most real rapper of our time He’s truly missed Happy Birthday in heaven Rest In Power.”

Nipsey Hussle’s killer sentenced to 60 years in prison

Earlier this year, Eric R. Holder, Jr. who was found guilty of shooting Hussle, was sentenced to at least 60 years in prison.

Holder was found guilty of murder, as well as two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter for the two bystanders injured in the shooting, as per BBC.
