Paris Hilton 'heartbroken' reading 'cruel and hateful' comments about her son's head

Paris Hilton has taken to Instagram to address the comments made by ‘sick people in this world’ commenting on the size of her son’s head.

The star issued a statement on her Instagram stories about how she couldn’t ‘fathom’ how people can be so “cruel and hateful.” The statement came after she posted a photo of herself and Pheonix to her page over the weekend.

After receiving various comments about the size and shape of her son’s head, Paris took to her Instagram story to address how hurtful it had been.

To her 25 million Instagram followers, the 42-year-old penned: “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable.

“This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return,” she wrote.

“If I don’t post my baby, people assume I’m not a great mother, and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I’m a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable, and angelic.

“I’ve dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It’s hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence.

“I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy,” Paris concluded.

The emotional words come after a TikTok user posted a video of the mean comments asking “What is wrong with this world?”

In the comments, the celebrity mom explained: “There are some sick people in this world.☹️My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course, he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”

As Phenoix was born via surrogate at the start of this year, the celebrity couple kept the pregnancy, and birth a secret, even from their nearest and dearest, even her own mother.

However, Hilton explained the choices on her podcast, saying how her whole life has been “so public.”

Speaking about the topic on her podcast, This is Paris, she said: “I just feel that my life has been so public, and I’ve never really had anything just be mine,” she said. “I feel like just my life in so many ways has been invaded. I just really felt that I wanted to have this journey be us only.”

Of course, her mom was in complete shock when she found out, and Paris revealed that she bought her a Chanel bag to “soften the blow” in an interview with Rolling Stone.

She explained she was holding her son in a blanket, to which Kathy asked: “What is that?”

“And I was like, ‘A baby … meet your grandson,'” Paris said, as she told the publication her mother “was just in tears,” gushing about how he was the most beautiful baby boy she’d ever seen.
